Two-Week Public-Private Partnership Event Aims to End Poverty, Reduce Inequality and Injustice, and Tackle Other Global Goals by 2030
SAN CARLOS, Calif., June 30, 2017 -- Bluescape an innovator in visual collaboration software, announced today its support for and participation in the inaugural Unreasonable Goals accelerator program. The two-week program, made possible through a public-private partnership between the Office of Global Partnerships at the U.S. Department of State and Unreasonable Group, is designed to bring together 16 entrepreneurial solutions, each with a mission of solving one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The program will launch on July 2 at the Aspen Institute’s Wye River Estate in Queenstown, Md. and will run annually until 2030. The 16 entrepreneurs participating in this year’s inaugural accelerator program are tackling the world’s most pressing issues, from more accessible and affordable healthcare to fair and equitable trade to clean water and sanitation and much more. The inaugural program will conclude with a public event on July 13, 2017, at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, DC. For more information, visit https://unreasonable-goals.com.
